Yamamoto town is about 25 miles away from Sendai.
Because of being located near the sea coast, this town was entirety swept away.
From the photos, we can see a land bridge.
It is the only building of the railway station which remained after tsunami.
I asked Hanako to check if my student was alive or not.
She belonged to my laboratory last year.
Hanako checked the survivors list at the Yamamoto town hall.
Hanako found my student's parents are alive.
But my student is missing.
I will keep believing she is alive.
