Dear Friends 5 April
I got the Nobiru town together with my daughters Maiko and Hanako today.

Nobiru town is famous for the beautiful beach which is crowded with surfers.
I had a summer camp here when my children were the primary school students.
Because this town is located just the coast side, many people became victims to the tsunami.
One of my co-workers had his house beside the beach.
I stayed his house one night when I was young.
I remenber the roar of waves and the beautiful view of the seashore.
When the earthquake occured, he was next to me.
The tragedy came to my mind at once.
He tried to go home.
But the route for Nobiru town was closed to traffic.
"I hope my house would remain" he said to me.
He could contact with his wife after trying many times.
His wife, child and mother evacuated to the hotel next to his house.
You can see this hotel among the photos linked above.
His house was removed from this land.
He was retiring on this April 1th.
Indeed, he was supposed to live a leisurely life in this beautiful Nobiru town from April.
I heard that he takes refuge with his sister's house in Sendai.
You can see the Nobiru railway station among the photos.
This station is one of the stations of Senseki Line which connect Sendai to Ishinomaki.
We can easily understand the big damage of the station and the rail track.
We can find the wall clock on the station's wall which points to two forty seven eternally.
It's just the time this earthquake occured.
The railway company didn't announce the recovery project yet.
We can see many trees which went down like duckpins.
We should think about the people who encountered the giant tsunami.
We should do something for these people.
I'm taking some staffs of Kinki Evangelical Lutheran Church to the area stricken by disaster tommorow.
They comes to Sendai from Osaka.
Pray for their support project in Christ.
